Sailing again, finally!

My engine had issues again with the oil level rising. For the longest time I couldn’t find a mechanic so I left the boat for what it was. Other than a bit of varnishing in May nothing much had been done. Very, very sad. But sometimes you just need to walk away to maintain your sanity.

However, through some other sailors in the marina I heard of a reliable mechanical engineer that actually showed up to do work on your boat (what a difference with the eegit in Scotland)!

He discovered that the lift pump needed to be services and the glow plug needed replacement.

Now I can go sail again (at the end of the season):
